Some of the tasks that I completed during my 4 month work term at CIBC were:
- Executed test cases in order to verify that the Business Banking application was working as expected.
- Tested defects thoroughly in order to determine their root cause.
- Logged defects as they arose throughout the testing cycle.
- Learned the CIBC Enterprise Testing Methodology (CETM).
- Implemented the CETM by creating test case templates (test cases which take in parameters).
- Created JavaScript applications which allowed testers to modify various banking files.
- Created AutoIT scripts which allowed testers to effectively use Mercury Quality Center.

Be able to use the Mercury Quality Center package effectively in order to verify that an application works as required. -
Communicating - WRITTEN
To become more proficient at writing concise test cases and documenting defects thoroughly. -

To work with direct supervisor to ensure that deadlines are met as required. -

Apply information gathered from the current defects in order to provide possible causes of these issues.
